I’m curious to know how users manage baselines. With ReqIF Studio we know we can enter our requirements, we can link requirements, we can export and import, but when it comes time to baseline requirements, what’s the best approach? Heavyweight tools like DOORS handle this very well. The only thing I can think of is via standard configuration Management tools like Git or SVN. Afterall, the files are XML files and easily placed under configuration control. Tagging the project would be like a baseline. Or is there a better way?

You are right, using a repository like GIT or SVN would be the way for baselining with ReqIF Studio. Remember, this is not a professional RE-Tool, it’s a ReqIF Editor.

Having said that, for a small number of requirements, using a repository actually works quite well. You can use Binom to compare different versions (or different Baselines with each other.
